The Pond ~ Pondus Extremus

Every year, on the Civic long weekend, a group of riff raff are called to do their Civic duty and spend the weekend camping out at Uncle Murrays pond just outside of Shakespeare ON. Hosted by the Lamb family (ne: Jeremy and Anissa), there is compliementary wood, a bbq, and... a pond. This is still a new tradition for me but the veterans of the event have been quick to show me the ropes and now I look forward to it every year!

Grand Bend in March

Grand Bend Ontario is such a special place for me. All my life my family and I have spent our summers there, at our trailer. The town holds so many happy memories for me and I don't think I will ever be able to part with it. We only go up during the spring and summer and our park doesn't open until the middle of May, but once the warm weather starts around the end of March/beginning of April, I get an itch to hop in the car and get up there for a day. These photos are from a day just like that where my good friends Colleen, Sam, and Anna (plus Ginger and Morgan) joined me on my early spring excursion and we spent the day walking the dogs and playing frisbee in the warm sunshine we missed so much!
