OHHH BOYY!! Sam and I are here balling then laughing, balling then laughing again! Aunt Mary was just the best! She was so sweet, n soft, funny and so full of love. Sam and I have sooo may funny memories to like:

the time we went out for lunch with her and she tore up a napkin into tiny pieces held it in her hand and scratched her had when the waiter came to the table -big chunks of dandruff all over the table ahhaha!!

how she use to always ask if she could have my lip gloss

"rub my belly Auntie Mary"

the ceramic angles she bought for me, Sam and Ash

how every time she called our house she would ask " what you guys eating for supper??"

How Sami and I had to run out and get her munchies (every day) like cheezies and liquorice when she was staying here during her treatments.

mock-chicken sandwiches!

Well I cant believe that it has been 1 year already. Someone told me today," Donna do you know how lucky your are to have had a sister to LOVE AND TO MISS HER LIKE YOU DO?, because there are some people that don't have that". They were right, I have so many memories of my sissy. When we were young and in our teens every Saturday would would go to Big V and buy all new makeup then go home and get ready to be "BAR FLIES" THATS WHAT OUR DAD WOULD CALL US! But man... these BAR FLIES would have soooo much fun!! One time I remember that she would make me braid her long and I mean longgggg hair so the next day it would look like hippy's hair. She loved that look.
The time we went to Bahamas and we meet Dobbie Grey and we were GROUPIES for that week. We would talk about that always. When I was looking after her she and I would talk of everything we laughed, cried and most of all she made me make some promises and I have and will always keep them close to my heart. She would take over Chantels room and she would say okay sissie make a Mock Chicken sandwich and make sure it has fresh bread, then we would eat in Chantels bed and watch CRIMINAL MINDS till we fall asleep. Chantel would come home and say "man you two are getting crumbs in my bed" we would say shut up Chantel , and we would laugh. Sammy would come home and we would send her out for chips and dip, we got it........ MARYANNE..THERE ARE NO WORDS TO SAY BUT I MISS AND LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY SOUL...I WISH THAT YOU WERE HERE TO GIVE ME SHIT WHEN I NEEDED IT. I CAN FEEL IN MY HEART THAT YOUR ANGLES WINGS ARE AROUND ME AND THAT IS WHAT KEEPS ME GOING, YOUR STRENGTH AND YOUR SOFTNESS SISSY. ONE DAY WE WILL BE TOGETHER SO YOU BETTER MAKE SURE THAT WE CAN GO SHOPPING AND JUST HAVE FUN.......MAN DID WE SHOP OR WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! SISSY LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU FOREVER TO HAVE A SISTER LIKE YOU IS THE MOST HIGHEST GIFT OF LIFE THAT ANYONE COULD HAVE DONNAxoxoxoxoxoxoxoooxoxoooooxxxxooooooooo

Oh Jalex ;) Dad sent me the note about the dragonfly and it brought me so much comfort. Over the past year, I haven't been ready to hear what I need to hear from you but I now feel myself getting closer... Maybe we can have some time in Arizona soon? (Just the two of us would be preferable). Thank-you, for still being such a good friend to Mom... xo

Memories are an amazing gift that you will carry with you forever & always. Your mom always had a way of creating happiness and laughter. She always insisted to me that I would have another baby, and I always insisted that she was wrong. And now I sit here knowing that this miracle I am expecting was sent to me for an angel above. She is loved & remembered everyday and we are blessed to be able to share such beautiful memories. xoxo

That was a beautiful tribute to your Mom and the relationship you shared with her.
You're right when you say that 'memories just exist.' Your Mom will be with you always and just when you're worried you've forgotten her, something will trigger a memory you didn't know you still had.
I'll be thinking of you today... it'll be a tough one and I can't say they get better but they do get happier because as time passes you celebrate her more and more and honour her in the decisions you make and the way you live.
